ICT project at belmore primary school
In 2005 the old ICT suite was redeveloped at Belmore Primary School. The old computers were moved out and 32 new Dell small form factor machines were bought and installed in the new suite. The room was designed with a sensible height for the worktops, so that children from reception to Y6 could sit comfortably at the computers. In addition the worktops were built so that children were able to see the interactive whiteboard without having to turn round.
After a lot of unboxing the new room starts to take shape.
In these two pictures you can see how much space has been saved by using the small form factor all-in-one Dell computers. The worktops are only 55cm deep and allow the maximum use of all the available space.
